Timber solutions for everyone!

The history of Wayne Norman Timber & Ply Pty Ltd involves a father and son team working hard for many years in the industry. Wayne grew up on Hancock's Pine Plantation with his father managing the plantation from 1966 to 1984. During this time Wayne often worked alongside his father as a kid, planting and managing the plantation. This provided him with the best foundations possible for a career in the timber industry. It would seem that he was destined to one day run a timber yard in Logan Village.

Extensive experience in the industry

Prior to commencing his own business, Wayne held down several jobs that helped build his experience in the industry. He worked in manufacture of lattice and other timber products, worked as a sales representative for a wholesale hardwood supplier and also worked as the state manager for a plywood manufacturer. This culminated to 25 years industry experience, experience that Wayne is able to draw on every day when running Wayne Norman Timber & Ply Pty Ltd in Logan Village. Wayne is able to provide customers with the right advice every time, ensuring their job is completed with the right products and right advice.

The development of the yard

The development of Wayne Norman Timber & Ply Pty Ltd was a 2 year process. Wayne had a vision of what he wanted in a timber yard and put lots of work in to ensure this was achieved to the fullest. This included a range of timber products, a fully concreted block, effective and efficient racking and display systems as well as ease of access for customers and deliveries.

Commenced trading in July 2011

Wayne Norman Timber & Ply Pty Ltd commenced trading in July 2001, predominantly servicing the commercial sector. Wayne decided that starting a business of his own would give him the opportunity to put everything that he had learnt in his years in the industry in place and provide customers with a quality service. Wayne had created the timber yard that he would have wanted if he was a customer. This is why there are so many repeat, happy customers today.
